Acrux II
AridNo survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
Acrux II sprawls beneath us in shades of rust and ochre—another arid wasteland, though I'll admit the layered canyon systems cut into the bedrock have a certain austere beauty that photographs never quite capture. The spectroscopic readings show abundant iron oxide and silicates, which means the usual suspects for any prospecting outfit, but nothing that justifies the fuel expenditure to land. Still, there's something oddly humbling about standing on a world where wind alone has sculptured mountains into abstract art over millennia; reminds me why I do this, even when the bureaucrats back on Meridian Station are breathing down my neck about "profitable coordinates."
