Acrux I
ScorchedNo survey data available. This world remains unexplored.
The surface of Acrux I is precisely what you'd expect from a world orbiting so close to its primary—an absolute hellscape of cracked silicate plains and the occasional molten basin, beautiful in the way a supernova is beautiful if you're viewing it from a very safe distance. I've charted three previous scorched worlds, and they all blur together after a while, but there's something almost meditative about the sheer hostility here, the way the atmosphere shimmers like a mirage that never resolves into anything cooler. No resources worth the risk of descent, and the stellar wind would shred our hull if we pushed any closer, so I'll mark it catalogued and move on—though I'll admit I lingered longer than necessary watching those thermal vortices spin across the terminator.
