The machine shop in what used to be a torpedo room. Power tools bolted to the walls, no safety rails, and a sign that says 'you break it, you weld it.'
The torpedo loading mechanisms make surprisingly good workbenches once you remove the warheads. The tools are a museum of salvaged equipment from every empire, none of it matching, all of it functional. Safety briefing consists of a laminated card that reads: 'Don't lose fingers. We don't have a medical bay either.'
