The Collective began exporting Neural Soma after observing that organic visitors to Nexus Prime responded positively to exposure to certain Voidborn operational byproducts. The soma is a refined version of those byproducts, packaged for distribution. Whether it constitutes food, medicine, or a form of software is a classification question the Collective finds tedious. 'It is consumed,' the Collective says, when pressed. 'The effects are well-documented. The mechanism is proprietary.' Haven's Promenade sells it in specialized establishments.
